Waze Rider offers the most convenient, affordable ride to work by connecting you to fellow commuters already driving with Waze, the world's largest community-based traffic and navigation app.

How does Waze Rider work?

Ask for a ride in advance and we'll notify you when a Wazer along your route has offered to pick you up. Once the ride is set, all you have to do is show up on time, ready to go!

How much does it cost?

Waze Riders help cover the cost of gas in exchange for a ride. Payment is transferred automatically upon drop-off.

Who's driving?

Your driver is an everyday Wazer with a similar commute planned, who would be taking the trip anyway. Pairing up means one less car on the road - great! See the driver's profile to view verified information, number of rides given, and 'thanks' received from previous riders. When a trip is set, you can message in-app before pickup. Many drivers and riders even choose to drive together again.
