Flattens the learning curve for building Java applications with minimal coding. Good open source alternative to visual tools like MS Access, Oracle Forms, PowerBuilder, Lotus Notes. Makes it easy for non-expert developer to create standard Java apps.
Cons
Visual emphasis will be annoying/constraining for developers used to coding Java in Eclipse/Netbeans. Form-driven development is not ideal for applications that involve complex transactions/business logic.
