Convert captured images to up to eight different file formats and store it on your folder.
About !PIX Screen Capture ConverterWhen you use Mac OS X shortcuts to capture elements of screen as files to your desktop, after a while, you will finish with zillions of PNG files. Each file named as ¢â?¬?picture1.png,¢â?¬? ¢â?¬?picture2.png,¢â?¬? etc. Then, if you want these files in another format, you will have to convert them later, on some graphical package, to the formats desired. Imagine what a waste of time! Now imagine that you have to capture dozens of screen shots, program windows or screen areas and want the result instantly converted to several image formats, each file named with date and time of capture and stored on a folder according to the format chosen. Many more features.
There are other programs out there who really do the job of screen capturing but I tested this program and loved 3 things:

- first the simplicity of the program;

- the size of the program (20 Kbytes?);

- the fact the the program is always running, without stealing any CPU resource, cause it is a folder action;

- the fact that images captured can be exported to the clipboard (to be used by any program), to a new message on Mail.app, to Photoshop CS2 or directly to 8 different file types that are stored in an organized way on the desktop.
