Editors’ Review
Although it offers few surprises, this Arkanoid remake makes a mostly solid choice. Like virtually all games in this category, this one follows the standard brick-breaking formula, occasionally offering you power-ups such as multiballs.
The graphics, which seem to have a space-tinged, futuristic motif, aren't incredible, but they certainly suffice for this type of game. However, we found the soundtrack a bit too cheery for a game called Warkanoid, and we appreciated the ability to turn it down. We were also glad to see options for playing with the mouse or keyboard and reconfiguring the controls if we opted for the latter.
The inclusion of three difficulty levels makes the game suitable for players of all skill levels. When all is said and done, we can't find any major reason to think Warkanoid won't at least satisfy fans of breakout-style games.
