Addictive animation making with voiceover at speed...

Pros
Fast start with the tutorial, voiceover simple via laptop mic, two click music integration, loads of characters and props, serious lighting and camera angle capability and best of all easy to edit, My 12yo nephew is now making his own
Cons
so much capability that amateurs and pros can use it with vastly different outcomes, need to learn its real functionality as used quickstart functionality

Pros
Super easy. Only had to watch one tutorial and then I could make animations. Plus you don't have to draw anything! :) Characters and props all there, so all I had to do was come up with a story and then drop assets in. Awesome
Cons
Camera controls were tricky but this gave real movie effects.

Overall I think the software is great! I only have the free version but I made my first animation in under 20 minutes by spending 5 minutes watching the video tutorial and then in the next 15 minutes made the scene from the Matrix where Neo tells Trinity they need guns, lots of guns and all the shelves come sliding in (conveniently there is a plain white background you can use). The interface is very simple once you get the hang of selecting objects and then right clicking on them to find the appropriate options. The interface also looks very tidy, many other programs I use have cluttered windows full of buttons, its very refreshing to get away from that! Although there are only a few characters, they are very funny and its easy to modify to suit your needs. Their clothing and hair styles are pretty awesome and there is sufficient variety to make your favorite characters. I first heard about this software by watching videos on youtube and I'm very glad I downloaded it. I am definitely buying the full version.
