  Works perfectly, joins are seamless. Extracting and joining vob files from a DVD is quite fast. The interface is one you can easily intuit.

  Pros

  easy and fast. No installation. Joined three 1G VOB files in less than 2 minutes. Nice progress bar No cost, no ads. Nice job.

  drag and drop reordered files. But GUI allows ordering - so no big deal.

  This is an EXCELLENT tool. I only needed this tool as a one-time thing, and I took a pretty long while searching for the right product. I FINALLY found it HERE. Thank you so much ,VOBJoin.Net! Only thing...When I played the joined file in "VLC media player," the duration was shorter than what it should have been with all the VOB files' durations added up. I timed the distance between each second calculated on VLC and got an average of about 1.85 seconds. To make sure I wasn't timing it incorrectly, I timed a VOB file I used in the joining process and got 0.99 seconds between each calculated second. Even though these were rough estimates, there is a clear difference. The video was the length it was meant to be and the correct file size as well. No one should have problems with this program. I sure didn't! Running: Vista / 64 bit Intel Core2Duo (Centrino)

  Audio / Video does NOT skip between joined files. THIS IS CRUCIAL. Does NOT degrade QUALITY or compress Files to lower quality. I joined several files larger than 1 Gig each - and the output file size was the same as the input. THIS TOO IS CRUCIAL.

  Let me tell you, I tried several VOB joiners before this one. ALL of them resulted in glitches at the joining point between files. Either the audio/video would skip, or the quality was degraded in the process. When I downloaded VOBJoin.Net .. I was *not* expecting much from such a light program. I'll never use another program. THIS one does what it says. Running: Windows 7 / 64 Bit Processor: Intel Core i7 / 920 / 2.67 GHz RAM: 6 GB -------------------- Also works great on Windows Vista 32 bit<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Nov 18, 2011<p/>Updating on my previous review. This works great on NTSC - but ----&gt; NOT on PAL. With VOB files from a PAL DVD, this program will join the VOBs. *However* the problem is - for example: **** Let's say you join 5 VOB files, equaling 2 hours of video. **** The result is 5 joined VOB files, with a runtime of 30 minutes instead of 2 hours.
