The easy to use application automatically tracks all computer activities, working time, pauses, projects, costs, software and Internet use and presents detailed, richly illustrated reports. You learn which programs were used for how long, when, and by whom. Parents have control over their children's PC use. The logger runs invisible in the background and monitors all activities on family's PC or company's network. Visual TimeAnalyzer analyses software usage at individual workstations or across the network. You can choose detailed reports and analysis graphs for time tracking, time management, project tracking, project management, project cost or attendance. Select user and time periods and see: Weekly statistics, hourly computer use, most used programs, online time, active working time, pause times, opened documents, projects, daily summary (diary), history and intensity of program usage (ideal for project overview), extent of the use of available programs, visited web pages (time, URL, title), and TopTen of the most popular web pages. Visual TimeAnalyzer analyzes PC activities in Family or Business. You can compare all users (e.g. most active users, most used programs, most visited websites). Keep user data (like passwords and personal documents) safe: Visual TimeAnalyzer does not record keyboard inputs or run background screencaptures.

Is not work; No support

Pros
Would be the perfect feature set for me if it worked. I especially like the ability to track Web usage by site, since many of my apps are cloud-based / SaaS and accesses through the Web.
Cons
I never could get it to work. It simply will not track anything. I followed instructions, reinstalled, set with admin permissions. It just doesn't work. I've contacted Neuber support several time over the past few months. They have never responded.
Summary
Look for similar products by more reputable companies. It is bad enough that I can't get this to work, but what's worse is the absolute lack of any support. I made the mistake of downloading, installing, looking at it a bit and buying it before letting it run for a few days. Be sure you test it on your system before buying. I'm running Windows 7, which it is supposed to work with. I usually have a high tolerance for tech issues when I'm deploying a new product, especially when, like this, it is for personal use. But the complete lack of support, including extremely limited troubleshooting documentation and the absolute lack of responsiveness of A. & M. Neuber Software GmbH to any support questions means that I cannot recommend this or any software from this company. Obviously others are not having issues and like the product, and the feature set is great, if it would only work. Just make sure you test it on your system before paying, and do not expect any support from the company if you have any issues, whether you've paid or not.

this is a nice idea, and the presentation of the various screens is quite nice

seems to be unstable. also seems to have some difficulty determining which application is actually being used at any particular time

Fantastic application. <p>It beats everything else in the market. Very easy and effective. I spent several weeks trying others, smart worktime, worktime, Vakcer, etc. and this one is the best for my purpose.

Easy to understand statistics about the usage of my computer. You have nothing to do (no manually start and stop projects) <p>Good to see what my children or my employee did on the PC. Good for Software usage metering.
Cons
No freeware ;-) but 39$ isn't too much...
