Ease of use: VirusTotal doesn't try to look fancy or sleek. However, its functionality works as advertised. Just drag and drop a file into the window, and presto.

Cons

Minimum scan: VirusTotal scans only about four files at a time, which can seem low when you're scanning large volumes of folders and applications.

Limited use: Though the VirusTotal app removes the upload step from the Web version, you're still forced to visit the website for a complete scan report. It doesn't really save that much time.

Though it's not a major timesaver compared to the VirusTotal Web app, VirusTotal Uploader for Mac does save time for those who upload apps and files in larger batches.
