View Folder Size Pro for Windows

Windows has become easier to use over the years, but still leaves answers to some obvious questions--such as how much data is in a folder-- hidden or difficult to find. This basic utility makes it easier to answer that question, by automatically displaying folder sizes in the Windows Explorer column. Ordinarily, users have to right-click a folder's icon to find this information.

However, we found the the utility to be unnecessarily complicated, requiring users to manually reconfigure some Windows settings that could be changed automatically. Reading the tutorial is advised. The software can display folder sizes in bytes, kilobytes, megabytes, or gigabytes, but doesn't provide a graphical representation of how much disk space is being used, a feature some competitors offer. Though the program does its simple job well enough, alternatives with more power and features are available.
