  Whenever I go to hit the "start" button, I get some sort of error message. There is no troubleshooting guide I could find to tell me what I needed to do. There is no help support. It's hard to reach a certain point in the movie clip.

  I couldn't the thing to work properly but it could have been my old (5 years) computer. I tried 2 times to split a large file 9 GB but program wouldn't work for me.

  Other poster says its "way to slow" - well I think the speed depends on your PC and the size of the file you are splitting. Has not hung up on my either. Weird thing is when you start the splitting process two boxes pop up- one showing progress which works fine, the other is called Xvid status and its blank. No idea what that is.

  Kaspersky halted the download because there was a trojan in the file. The name is: <p>(detected: Trojan program Trojan-Proxy.Win32.Ranky.gc)
