This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I have not experienced a single crash, and exporting movies has been a simple process. It can take a long time, and for a while after the process seems to be completed the exported file is a "Zero KB" files. At this point the process is NOT complete, and Norrkross can't be accessed. It's just a matter of patience and waiting until the processing is done. I don't use it much, but have used it for 3 or 4 movies in the past few days. Adding effects and text was a simple process, and the results were good. I do have a problem with synchronizing video with a separate audio file. In Norrkross the audio and video seemed to be perfectly synchronized, but the resulting movie was not synchronized. I don't know if this has to do with the different settings for both audio and video and the processing each of them needed. I had a Zero KB movie before I started typing this review. Now it's a 75 MB file, ready to go on YouTube. Works for me.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I was pretty excited to try this out as I wanted to dive into some basic video editing, but after investing about four or five hours with it, I'm going elsewhere. It lacks a great of basic user-friendly features and has quite a few bugs. Might turn into something worthwhile in the future, but only after extensive development.

So far, Norrkross simply towers above all the others, in my experience. Smooth, speedy, clever, elegant, great support (fixed versions within hours) and bursting with potential (definitely check out the node view). VERY impressive; canÃ¢??t wait to see how this develops.
