• Worse Than DAP And 4K Combined:

  These people are criminals that rob you of 40 USD ("discounted rate") for software that YOU GUESSED IT does not work. It will eat up all your CPU usage so it is best you have everything else closed out and all your work saved. Unlike 4K, it will save videos in .WEBM but batch downloading eats up CPU and I have spent HOURS trying to get it to respond. That takes even longer than clicking each video individually with DAP. There really isn't a "SELECT ALL" function. Be cause the "Save As" appears for EACH video. 1,437 TIMES. It gets so bad that eventually there is NOTHING IN THE DIALOGUE BOX which means that very few videos are scheduled for download.

  Summary

  To try to get every one of the channel's videos saved, you will have to watch the downloader search for videos in the channel. You will then have to hit SELECT ALL even though the video titles haven't finished appearing. Once more videos have been detected, then you will have to UNCHECK the box and then check the SELECT ALL box AGAIN. and AGAIN. EVENTUALLY they will all be scheduled, for the moment anyways. Be cause the next step is to select which video type and size and GUESS WHAT! They only let you pick ONE at a time. And then the settings have to be applied for EVERY video. All you have to do is hit ENTER over and over and over again. If you get any blank windows open up then hit ALT F4 until they go away. I haven't even tried downloading yet but here are important instructions. It is very possible that it will download BROKEN and CORRUPT files just like 4K.

  Pros

  Great to recommend to people you don't like. Got me to reimage my system which was long overdue. I didn't have to pay to try.

  Cons

  Just doesn't work period. No subtitles on video it downloaded. Video was not playable by any software other than the converters previewer. Ignores settings like the number of videos to download at the same time.

  Summary

  i hate when developers don't test their software. Was a simple test on a major content provider too much to ask? I guess so. Avoid at all cost.

  Pros

  It can download videos internationally, which was my sole reason for trying this product. I am located in the U.S.A and enjoy visiting Asian video sharing sites like Youku. Many (more reliable) sites and programs that help you download and/covert like Freemake, Savefromnet and Download Helper are not compatible with other regions.

  Cons

  *While you can download globally in theory, that doesn't mean its gonna happen! 2-3 times more of my videos failed to download than succeeded. Often it only downloads part of the video, the first 10 min perhaps of a 2-hr movie. Sometimes it won't download anything,rejecting perfectly good urls as soon as you enter them. *It is murderously slow, be prepared for videos to download in real-time. If you are downloading a five hour opera... you wait 5 hrs or more. And that is if it downloads successfully, it may download for 8 hours... then only show 8 minutes of the video once it is "complete." Progress also often stops completely in the middle of the download. You can try to make it start again... it may finish downloading your video, or may lag nonstop, never loading past 2% progress no matter what you do. *Videos often download with severe mistakes that weren't in the original upload, sound missing or audio tracks getting out of synch with video, making actors look badly dubbed.

  Summary

  Cons continued.. *Video detector is an extremely annoying feature. I don't know why anyone would want this thing enabled. It cheerfully adds any other random piece of media it finds on the web page you're downloading from to your lists of downloads, it doesn't even prompt you and ask if you want it or not, it could be a pop-up window or banner ad to the side of the page, and usually thats is exactly the type of media it detects and tries to download for you. My overall experience with Video Download Capture could not have been much more dreadful, it was exhausting to use. I was given a free trial of it, and now that my trial is ending I do not want to renew this crap. If this were free I would still not want it, and would uninstall it. It rarely does what it says it will do, it is just a waste of memory on my computer.

  Great software which does what it states, and does it very well

  Not easy to navigate the down load aps that want to download with this program. You MUST read every screen as you are downloading. You may even have to down load more than once. Read EACH screen to see what you are agreeing to.

  Summary

  Once you get the program with out all the adware and toolbars that want to down load with it. It just works. Just becareful down loading the program and you will not regret this software. Many antivirus software flag this program, see watch for antivirus blocking your program from working.

  Online version is free and awesome. But the desktop version is not free, though I understand that it's for the developers to keep making a better software for us.

  Pros

  This tool can be used as a video downloader, screen recorder, video/audio converter and video editor. I'm quite content with the video editing feature, it can helps me make demo videos. I'm not a profession in video making, and the simple inlaid video editor satisfied me a lot!
