Pros

Great service: This app makes getting photos out of videos much easier than it is if you try to do it manually. It also finds more good shots than you're likely to find on your own, and you don't have to do any of the tedious work, yourself. Just wait for the scan to complete and then pick out your favorites. It's as easy as that.

Social integration: When you've found some photos that you like, you can easily save them to your phone, or you can share them directly from the app. Vhoto actually includes its own social network aspect, and you can post your photos directly to that platform for other users to view. You can share to Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter with just a few taps.

Cons

No saved scans: Once you've exited a set of scan results, you can't go back. You'll also have to scan again if your phone times out while the scan is in progress, which is likely if you're not paying attention. We did notice, however, that scans do seem to take less time the second time around.
