Instead of using a simple password, you can instead add an extra level of security to your lock screen by signing in with two-step authentication, and receive a one-time code on your smartphone. Two-step authentication is already seen online, like for signing into your Google or Microsoft account, so why not apply it to your lock screen?

Unlike other competitors, we don't forget about how much a simple, clean, and customizable appearance can satisfy you, so we made sure to work on developing a lock screen that is not only secure, but also appealing. VBLock comes with three themes:

- Solid: a solid color or background to cover up your session so it can't be seen by others - Transparent: your session stays visible so that you can monitor your work while it's still locked - Aero: our exclusive theme that covers up your session with the beautiful, translucent Aero Glass available for Windows 7
