FolderMagic's sole function is to customize the appearance of folders in Windows, and it performs its function well.

The program features an easy-to-use interface that allows you to change both the color and the icon of your Windows folders. It is integrated with Windows, which allows for quick access via a right-click menu. You can change the appearance of folders or choose from several preloaded icons to help liven up default Windows folders. In terms of extras, you can opt not to share certain folders, and can add brief descriptions to each folder.

FolderMagic offers more options for customizing folders compared to Windows' built-in functions. Our only complaint is its 15-day trial period. However, users looking to spice up their folders will enjoy what FolderMagic has to offer.

Pros
Easy to use; simplicity itself. The abiltiy to add your own icons is what makes "FolderMagic" shine. And like the first reviewer I've been using "FolderMagic" for many years without any problems and have not found a better program of it's type. I find it easier to add new icons straight to the folders, but new icons can be added inside the program itself. Pay no attention to the "Corrupted File" review; what a mindless review. There are way more download sites than this one and many have "FolderMagic" in their inventory or here's an idea; why not download it from the developer's site?
Cons
You have to pay for it, but to me that's not really a con; it's more then well worth the ten dollars asking price.
Summary
Easy to use, can add your own icons, comes with a lot already, but I've added many of my own. Don't take my word for it download it for yourself and find out.

Download this...I use it all the time and I wouldn't use anything else. <p>Of course you only get a 15 day trail, but hey, it is worth buying.
