For the first time ever, you can see what the Valentine One Radar Locator really knows on the screen of any compatible AndroidTM device.YOULL SEE THE THREAT PICTURE Of course the screen shows V1s exclusive Radar Locator with its illuminated arrows pointing toward the threat. And the Bogey Counter still tracks multiple threats as it always has. But now, with V1connection, a wireless Bluetoothcircle-R communicator, V1 shows you a revolutionary new way of analyzing radar threats. ARROW IN THE BOXRadar detectors typically scan the entire width of X, K and Ka bands. But we know the frequencies of every radar gun used in the U.S., and those frequencies dont spread across the full bandwidth, particularly in the most commonly used Ka band. So V1s Threat Picture displays the full width of each band while a yellow box overlaid on the band contains the zone of known radar activity. When you see an arrow outside the box, thats probably a false alarm. When you see an Arrow in the Box, take the threat seriously until youve positively identified it. The Threat Picture displays a separate arrow for every threat within range, pointing ahead, beside or behind, according to its direction from your car. The arrows grow larger as the signal strength increases. Your visual scan of the Threat Picture tells you instantly which alerts may mature into threats and which are unlikely to be of further concern. SITUATION AWARENESS THREE WAYSChoose among three information screens at any time. One reproduces V1s front-panel warnings including signal strength, Bogey Counter and Radar Locator. The Threat Picture is a separate screen. Or you can choose the Threat List, which shows in list form all signals within range, each with an accompanying arrow to show direction. The list order is arranged according to time tracked, longest time at the top. A flashing arrow marks the greatest threat. BEYOND SITUATION AWARENESSThink of V1connection as the Master Controller for your V1 system. You can revise programming, adjust SAVVY settings, change muting, activate dark mode, save custom programming profiles for different trips, and more, all from your hand-held. DEMO MODE IS AUTOMATICJust download this free app. The Demo Mode plays automatically, giving you a look at all three warning screens playing through preloaded on-road scenarios. For further functions, youll need to purchase V1connection to communicate wirelessly with your Valentine One detector. COMPATIBILITYYour device must have Android Operating System 2.3 or higher, and (this is important) support Serial Port Profile (SPP) over Bluetooth. A screen resolution of 800x480 or larger is desirable for optimal viewing, but not essential.V1connection works with all Valentine One Radar Locators, but its full capability is available only from V1s with ESP.
