V1 Home is a desktop video application designed specifically for sports analysis. Grab your camcorder and record your golf swing, tennis swing, martial arts form, or other sports motion, then use V1 Home's tools to see what needs improvement. Our software supports both analog and digital video capture using the latest IEEE-1394 (FireWire) video capture technology. Version 2.0 fixed problems with AVI trimming, fixed some Windows Vista bugs.

This software is very buggy. And just try and get help from their support. You get 1 initial email asking questions -- probably just to get your hopes up -- then they are never heard from again. It totally freezes the computer, and I have 1 Gig Memory!!! Only program that's been able to do that. The good reviews are probably from employees. My advice -- RUN.

Aren't very many good programs at this cost that give some much help AND work intuitively and correctly. Install in WINDOWS is first class. This software does not work with Macs. Says so on the first page.

I use the split screen mode for tennis regularly, just by myself not coaching anyone. The software desperately needs some keyboard shortcuts, and the split screen version should have variable slow motion as well, because sometimes you are modelling your own strokes which are performed slowly while you watch a pro who is obviously swinging very quickly. Other than that it works adequately for what I want it to.

I travel worldwide giving golf clinics, and V1 really impresses! It has amazing versitility- allowing you to provide definitive analysis of a swing, comparisons, and even send video footage and comenntary via the internet. It is an integral part of my golf instruction program.
