UPS offers an XML online tool to obtain Address Validation (City, State, Zip) Information US Only. However, it is up to the individual company to program and implement. All the work has been done in this DLL. Obtain Address Validation information quickly and easily for your UPS shipments in an object oriented environment with this tool.

If an address is not valid, you will be presented with up to 10 possible combinations sorted by a confidence level. This tool is intended for use by programmers. We are not affiliated with UPS. Version 1.31 added additional functionality and relaxed registry permissions.

Terrible Documentation

I would say none but I guess the pro is it's free.
Cons
Example Documentation doesn't work. How is anyone going to implement this without some working examples? There is nothing but these "examples" to look at. Out of the box, I put in my userid/pass and API key and try to run their code and get a "Hard" error (meaning it's something in my code). String[] addressLine = { "3930 KRISTI COURT" }; String[] addressKeyFormatItems = { "CA", "Cumming", "95827" }; addressKeyFormat.AddressLine = addressLine; addressKeyFormat.Urbanization = "SACRAMENTO CA 95827"; Looks self explanatory but WTF is "Comming"? Why isn't this documented? Regardless, when you run the console app included in the docs, you get a "hard" error. If you run the DotNet console App. This is the error you'll get: {"An exception has been raised as a result of client data."} "Hard9264030 The state is not supported in the Customer Integration Environment."
Summary
I would avoid this at all costs. Use something else, even if that means paying.

No documentation or smaples on how to use it. Trial and error seem to be the only way to use this.

The Assembly seems to be well written but well written documentation on how to use it would have resulted in a higher rating.
