• Great Product with Interface Issue

  Tons of options. Runs great. Looks good, for the most part, see below.

  Cons

  Taking a full star because I don't understand and don't see documented anywhere, why I have to see a list of every game in existence when I only have a handful of ROMs that I use. I have to scroll through a hundred ROMs to get to the one that I want, alphabetically. Can't the database you create simply consist of the games in the specified folder?

  Summary

  Love the program so if someone knows a way to change the interface, I will bump up my score.

  Pros

  it actually works! you can play all your old favorite nintendo game system games.

  Cons

  database sometimes fails to load(can still load the game file) and save state function doesn't work.

  Summary

  even with the 'cons' it's a blast to play good ol nintendo games on my pc.

  Pros

  once you have got it, it's fantastic. hours of fun and it works really well.

  Cons

  the problem is that some times it takes a couple of tries to get it going. you have to create and then load the data base. and then it may or may not work, you may need to create and load several times to get it to work, but it would be better if there was some sort of auto configuration or something. i imagine it would be very frustrating for a novice pc user.

  Pros

  This NES emulator is great, it's easy to load the games I've downloaded, and it has built in features like debugging and cheats. It's also visually pleasing, with the retro NES systems in the background. <p> <p>* In response to drew 2, perhaps you didn't download the roms properly. You have to unzip the games you download and specify where you put them. I've put mine in the C drive in a special folder titled Video Games, from there I then load the Ubernes emulator, go to file and load the games from the specific directory the games are saved too. Also you need all the latest updates for DirectX drivers. Hope you get it to work, it took me some time to figure it out.

  Cons

  Only problem I've encounterd is when I close the emulator, it says windows encountered an error, but it closes the program immediately. Perhaps it's a problem on my behalf.

  I read the readme!! txt. file on how to make it work. It said the application would guide me through the process. One click. Double click. Triple click. Frustration. Uninstallation. Re-download. Retry. Nothing. Like so many other programs, it sat there looking pretty...ugly.

  Pros

  1. runs flawlessly <p>2. excellent gameplay options <p>3. the high score option is awesome. this emulator has allowed me to compete for the highest score in over 40 games (try to beat my Super Sprint score). This feature is what makes this emulator far and above the others.

  Cons

  I've spent too much time playing for high scores.
