As the mobile version of a social/dating site with almost 50 million users worldwide, Twoo comes with an appealing interface and an effective search function, but forces you to pay for basic features that other apps offer for free. This app can help you find friends and possible dates near your location, but charges you for almost everything.

Pros

Appealing design: Twoo features a streamlined design that makes essential information about users easy to access, straight from the results list as well as through the profile page, which lists particulars like education, body type, and height.

Large community: So long as you're living near a major city, you'll be able to browse through thousands or tens of thousands of profiles, most of them with genuine photos. That means plenty of opportunities for finding dates.

Cons

Pricey: While many other similar apps are ad-supported, this one has no ads but asks you to pay through credits for almost everything, from viewing profile likes or visitors to chatting. What's more, it does this on a per request basis, so the more you use it, the more you'll have to spend.

Limited search: The app doesn't let you add your own Search criteria for finding people more quickly. Though it does have a button for this, it doesn't work.

Bottom Line

With its vibrant community and beautiful design, Twoo can be an enjoyable social and dating app for young people and adults. However, you may find it annoyingly pricey, especially since it charges you each time you use the basic features. A monthly subscription fee would have been less vexing.

Site BLOCKS conversations after they started and asks user to BUY UNLIMITED SERVICE to unlock them! Fake profiles... many! "real" users are hard to find. BE AWARE BEFORE PAY ANYTHING TO THIS SITE!!!!! IF YOU USE PAYPAL you are making a DEBT CONTRACT, and even if you stop the UNLIMITED SERVICES, TWOO can charge you at any time at a push of a button!!!! It happened to me when i accidentally pushed the UNLIMITED button even without any confirmation!!!!!!!! BE AWARE!!! STAY AWAY! Use BADOO instead!

A complete scam and spammer. DO NOT REGISTRY!. The site will drag into your phone contacts and will send them WIHTOUT you explicit approval mass emails with invitations, in your name, for seeing your photos.. I a pyramidal game style they managed to have millions of fooled subscribers.

TWOO Is A Fucking Spamming Machine !! don't give ANY details out of nowhere i started getting endless friggin' emails about this, that & the other person who want to befriend me, bla, bla, fucking bla .... people i had NEVER heard about, i NEVER gave them my email address & i've tried unsubscribing umpteen times to no avail - they just totally disregard it & keep sending their garbage over & over & over..... if i had any of the people responsible within reach i would slap them to kingdom come for the fucking aggravatio

SPAM - Gains access to all your email contacts through unclear GUI, then sends spam messages to all family, business contacts i.e. everyone to join you on Twoo dating website

CAUTION - Beware the pop-up window which says 'Connect'! So you click through the website trying without luck to find a feature available for free and this malicious software somehow gets access to your email contacts. A pop-up looking like it's from Twoo appears saying '493 people are waiting to connect with you on Twoo' with a big green 'Connect' button. You click on it and a moment later realize the pop-up was from gmail. Twoo has just sent invitations to all your gmail contacts asking them to join you on Twoo (dating website) i.e. your family, business contacts and everyone whose address is stored on your gmail. What's worse is it will keep spamming them until they unsubscribe. It even sends emails to addresses like amazon.co.uk etc. I complained to Twoo, their response was rubbish. They said recipients could unsubcribe at anytime. This feature has been complained about since 2010. Be careful with this malware
