• Iinstalling TweakMaster cured my DSL latching problems.

  Pros

  This program facilitates fine tuning of all TCP/IP & local area parameters like no other. They will also negotiate the price for the pro vertion.If you uninstall the trial you are taken to the site and offered you reduced price on the 'pro' vertion.

  Cons

  I havn't been able to fault the program so far & I'm running a 64 BIT DESKTOP...where invariably programs hiccup if they are going to.

  Summary

  This proved so good that I bought it. Because my isp is 'talk talk' occasionally my DSL had problems 'latching', dropping my connex every 15 mins or so. Since installing 'TweakMaster' and fine tuning it (which no other program I have find facilitates) I no have a 'rock steady' latched DSL connex. Also my speeds have increased drematically. A great tool for fine tuning TCP/IP & Local area network connections. Will run satisfactorily on 64 Bit Operating systems.

  It installed a virus called "Backdoor Bifrose". our system admin. is right now trying to save our server. I though I'd be smart and try and squeez a little more speed out of our server and this is what I got.

  Pros

  This program really does what it says. It was able to speed up my internet connection and it has a very user-friendly interface. The features are also hot since it can aid you in monitoring your internet connection speed.

  Cons

  The changes that this program makes are not maximal. Besides the price is too high compared to the other products which can optimize better than this program. I would recommend Modem Booster which really boosted my Dial-up connection to up to 75%. Try it and compare...

  Pros

  This sped up my connection by 100%, which is a lot when you have dial-up. I like the different options to tweak the settings yourself or have the program do it for you. My best setting was '3'. Some of the advanced options look to be useful, but I'm not sold yet.

  Cons

  You have to restart everytime you change your setting, which is annoying to do 5 or more times in a row. Also there are several options on the main screen but when you click on them, you can't access them because you didn't buy it. That is annoying, but not really a 'con'.

  Before using Tweak Master Pro I was using Pointstone Internet Accelerator as its trials expiry was near so I downloaded this product.A good internet connection is a blessing.Speed is the main problem with internet.I found Tweak Master Pro a good alternate.Tweak master pro is one of the best internet optimizers that I have ever seen.It not only contains an opyimization wizard and an advanced mode but contains other set of usefull utilities such as DNS accelerator,Clock synchronizer,WhosIs,Connection speed measurement and many more.It contains not only 1 optimization strategy like many programs but 7 others!In my opinion optimization strategy# 1 is the best and gives accurate results.Link Fox opens pages like a rocket and DU meter is yet another useful utilitiy worth mentioning.Actually I have seen a lot of other products on the net but this one has really tempted me into buying it because this is one software that I find worth spending on.Well done Hagel technologies.

  Anyone buying this may as well simply go and burn their money. There is nothing good I can say about it. It did not speed up any applications or downloads. In fact I have had problems with Internet Explorer ever since I first run it. After trying a few I do not think there are any programs out there that can really speed up downloads, particularly if you have broadband.

  What am i to expect i use AOL and have Windows XP Pro <p> <p>i was extremely annoyed at my 2Mbps AOL ADSL connection when it had useless speeds of 222kbps and now it really works. I can't really fault this program at all apart from it having that silly "LinkFox" bundled with it...usefull for some but not me (I wouldn't mind LinkFox advertised in the software but it doesn't need to be there in my opinion)
