TurnSharp converts Delphi applications to C#. It converts delphi source code and the GUI. Plus it creates a Visual Studio 2005 project ready to compile. This single utility: Converts numerous user interface controls such as grids, buttons, dropdowns, menus, panels, and tabsheets. Converts the full range of data types. Converts many UI events such as OnLoad, OnClick, and OnMouseOver.

Converts Delphi applications from Delphi versions 2--7. Converts standard Delphi database connections. Converts with statements, for loops, while Loops, and switch statements. Converts file access, application spawning, and the crystal reports viewer. Creates a Visual Studio 2005 project. Your newly converted project is ready for you to load and compile (download VS 2005 Express here). Version 2.2a improvements: under the Options menu there is a new mapping feature. Custom objects can now be mapped to standard Delphi objects for translating.

TurnSharp or TurnToShit? tries to translate const based procedures by generating overloads of procedure
Cons
It gerenrates so many compiler errors so it disqualifies use of it. After conversion I dscovered hundreds of errors: logic and syntax, which that crappy product SHOULD convert. It doesn't recognise properly simple data types like word<>ushort.
Summary
TurnSharp or TurnToShit? Doesn't convert packed records with variants. Doesn't convert const function parameters. Doesn't do ord() val(), trunc() frac(), Doesn't operate on TDatetime with operators +-*/ Doesnt convert pointers Support? Doesn't exist. They Don't answer mails. Submitting bugs for free, and what I got in return? Not a word. They had even a problem with a running program and make it work. Does it do anything? Do not think so. Don't even try IT, and moreover buy. Useless product, waste of money.
