We have developed an application directly influenced by Toronto Mayor John Tory's vow to fight traffic congestion; an issue that increasingly cripples economies, hurts the environment and impacts urban residents and suburban commuters alike. A single parked car has the potential to reduce traffic throughput to 50% capacity. We work with municipal governments, local law enforcement, and towing companies in order to remove the barriers required to quickly and effectively fight traffic congestion.Introducing TowIt, a global, cross-platform mobile application that crowd sources illegally parked vehicles in order to report them in real-time to nearby tow truck operators and parking enforcement officers.We feel that in certain circumstances our crowdsourced public domain data is evidence enough to have an illegally parked car towed. Our security, data analytics & metrics systems will also completely mitigate any chance of abusing our system.Our application is not just Toronto-specific. It's a viable tool that can directly solve traffic congestion across the globe. Wherever you are, you may download and start reporting right away.
