• Better Products Out There

  Pros

  Great for kids to play around and perhaps someone who has never used any photo or graphics software package.

  Cons

  It's very limited in what it does, and really, I didn't feel like the end result looked at all like a cartoon, which was really the only reason I wanted to try it to begin with.

  Summary

  Get a nice free product like Gimp and play around. You'll have many more options, and even if you don't know what you're doing, after playing with a few filters, your accidental end product will look considerably better than anything Toon fx can do. And better yet, Gimp is not a trial - true, it's not PhotoShop, but it's awfully impressive for a free package.

  Not a true "trial".

  Summary

  This should be called a "Demo Only" because the finished photo has a GIGANTIC watermark-logo across the bottom 1/3 of the picture. It is NOT in the corner, it`s all the way across the photo, and it`s so large it can`t be cropped out....thus, this thing is totally useless except as an ADVERTISEMENT for the paid version....Waste of time.

• Finally! Real Cartoon Image I Can Use

  Pros

  Simple to use & figure out - pix actually come out like a cartoon image vs. glorified posturized - really fun! Watermark does not ruin image so I can still use & enjoy it, I don't mind keeping it on so others can find the program as well.

  Cons

  The trial forces pix to stay a minimum size & resolution & has a watermark in lower right hand corner but it's all good.

  Summary

  I'm so glad I finally found this - it's really fun & results are worth it. Unless you already know how to manipulate photo color levels, etc. in a regular photo editing program (to achieve a cartoon effect - which to me is just too complicated), then you should be pleased with what this program has to offer. I love it! :D

  Easy to use. Easy to uninstall.

  Cons

  Watermark in free version is quite large, takes up bottom part of picture. Of course you could crop it out later with some other program after saving. This is a trial version in case anybody was wondering.
