The ToolTipsFactory is a set of components designed to add visually and functionally sophisticated ToolTips to Windows Forms applications (.NET). These components give application developers the possibility to add really dynamic tooltips to their applications, with single- or multiline text, images, or even animations as content. They also give programmers full control over all tooltip layout elements like font, border, and background.

The tooltips can be designed and tested inside of Visual Studio.NET (7.0 and 7.1) and a powerful animation editor lets you create movie clips to be shown by the tooltips right inside the development environment. An extensive and comprehensible documentation with lots of examples, sample code, and tutorials is provided (ca. 400 pages). Detailed tutorials show, how the tooltips can be integrated and used with all kinds of grid-, list-, and tree-controls.
