In Hawaii, to live Aloha is to act with courtesy and caring so the world we treasure will thrive and endure a value that is omnipresent in Tommys restaurant.Another of his loves, Tommys wife Muriel introduced him to the restaurant business nearly 35 years ago when she was cooking with five-star chefs in Tahoe. Thinking it might be fun to have their own restaurant someday, Tommy went through the Chart House managers program, ultimately committing 12 years of his career to opening and running some of their most prominent locations.After completing his corporate restaurant management career with the Chart House here in Vancouver, Tommy developed his vision of a Vancouver restaurant that offered top-quality, enticing, island-inspired food in a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. Thus, Tommy Os Aloha Caf was born at the Vancouver Marketplace. Since then, Tommy has expanded his first restaurant from a popular lunch caf to a full-service dining destination with a loyal following of local and out-of-town fans. Sure, Tommy has served his share of celebrities over the years, including Willie Nelson, George Forman, Christie Brinkley and the entire Denver Broncos and 49ers football teams, but today its with you he looks most forward to welcoming and sharing a memory. .For 20 years Tommy O's has been serving downtown locals.
