TOK Cabs is a community-driven ride-hailing application designed specifically for Kochi commuters. It connects passengers with the local driver network known as Trips of Kochi, which includes over 1,500 active drivers. The app focuses on providing quick ride bookings, live vehicle tracking, and safety features, making it suitable for daily commuters, tourists, and business professionals. With its lightweight interface, TOK Cabs aims to deliver a seamless experience for users needing reliable transportation within the city and to the airport.
The app operates primarily as a local alternative to national ride-hailing platforms, emphasizing urban and airport transportation rather than long-distance travel. Users can quickly book rides for taxis or auto-rickshaws, with a 24/7 availability for airport pickups. Safety features such as Ride OTP for vehicle verification and live ride tracking enhance user trust. The direct-to-driver fare model aims to support local drivers, although the service area remains primarily within Kochi and surrounding regions.
