I am an architect and it has allowed me to capture my time and task in ways that used to be beyond me. Now, I can have multiple billing rates, treat my clients better and do hourly work that in the past would have been to tricky to track. Outstanding application. I expect it to pay for itself at least 100fold in the next year.

I use it as a companion to my general ledger app (AccountEdge) to track hours against fixed fee contracts as well as billable hours. My invoices are detailed and accurate, and estimates are at least twice as accurate because of this little gem, amounting to significant $$$. The developer responds to queries quickly; usually within 24 hours. My business (architecture) is so much better off for it.

TimeCache is simple to use like MultiTimer without all the bells and whistles of other programs. I don't need program for invoicing. QuickBooks does that. I just need a program that monitors my time and if I forget to turn it off, it stops itself. The launch feature of the program is particularly nice too and a great bonus. Cindy

It is perfect for tracking time &amp; expenses spent on projects within my design studio. i haven't run into any situation that the software can't handle. Sure, the time ultimately winds up being entered into my accounting software, but it has proven invaluable as a tool for the designers in my business who are keeping daily track of their time. I would never use my accounting software to accomplish the same task. Double entry? Maybe. But I need that degree of intermediate interaction before things become "written in stone". I do not mean to undermine its capabilities. TimeCache offers plenty of features that will allow you to bill directly from the data it tracks (i.e. don't hire that bookkeeper if you are not ready). I have had a few glitches "here &amp; there". But I have never (okay, maybe once) submitted feedback to a developer without receiving such an incredibly quick response. Today, mere hours upon emailing Pandaware, I received two voicemails from the developer. My issues were resolved and my faith has not wavered. Point being -- Pandaware cares. Please keep that in mind. Give it a shot. I have nothing to gain. I only hold an undying appreciation for its streamlined and perfectly simple interface, as well as its ability to get the job done. I have continually checked out similar software. It never suffices. Try it. Buy it. Peace.

Clients, activities, notes and job numbers, flexible hourly rate functions and clean interface are what make it my favorite, and I just about tried them all. Highly recommended.
