I've only used it a handful of times, but every time that I needed it, it's been a great help. I don't make banners, but occasionally create (or, more often, receive) a document that needs to be printed at a larger size than my printer can accommodate. I usually flail around with printer settings until I remember about the tiler. It always saves me. Great, simple to use, interface. On occasion, I have wished for more controls. But, really, it does all that is needed and it's simplicity is hard to fault. I was initially a bit surprised that such a program needed to exist. Shouldn't Apple have built this in to the print dialog? Tiler should be standard on everyone's Mac.

The features I wish it had are the ability to zoom the PDF (e.g. tile just a portion of the PDF file) and the ability to use images instead of PDFs. You'll have to convert your images to PDF before you can use this.

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Simple, straight forward, easy to use, exactly what I was looking for. The only drawback is that is only works with .pdf files. So you have to convert from jpg, tiff or whatever you are using into pdf first. But that is no big deal for most people who would need this app. I do not have a large format printer and this app allows me to put together posters with great precision. On top of that it is free. Nice job! I recommend this.

I was looking for a way to create some banners and here I found the neatest way. First I use Microsoft PowerPoint to create my banner and to save a PDF version of it. And then MindCad Tiler handles the print. EXCELLENT ! Thank you.
