This overly simplistic application is basically a TIFF file merger, but doesn't deliver as a renaming tool. Tiff Combiner, Renamer has a minuscule, dull interface that quickly combines all of the TIFF files in a selected folder. The process was quick, but the output file is automatically given the same name as the source folder and no option is offered to change it. Another drawback is you can't choose which files in a folder will be merged; it's an all or nothing process. Tiff File Combiner, Renamer may suit the casual user for merging files, but users who want a bit more flexibility with the merging process and full functionality for renaming output files won't be impressed by this basic file-management tool.
Takes multiple tiff files and merges them into one file.
Cons
You have to create a separate directory to put the files in.
Summary
Create a separate directory, put your individual tiff files in there, and the program will merge them into one multipaged tiff file. Then rename that file to whatever you want. It's too bad it won't do those 2 steps as part of the program, but what the heck, it's free.
Horrible
Pros
Nothing this software is worthless
Cons
Does not even support multi page tiffs
<p>No option to name the output files, automatically deletes originals.

petersax
Pros
It does one thing, and does it well - combines numerous single page tiff files into one multi-page tiff file.
Cons
Clunky user interface, but what do you expect for free? It names the NEW tiff file after the directory name - it would be nice if you could specify a filename for the new file.
Search for TIFF files in specified directories and merge them into one.The program traverses the specified directory structure (including subdirectories) and combines any found TIFFs into one and places the new file in the folder where the original TIFFs were found. The original files are replaced with the merged ones. The new files are renamed with the path that the files were found at.
