This app is part calculator, part-time machine. Enter a stock name or ticker symbol, the amount you would have invested, and a date in the past. Tap submit and travel back in time to see what your investment would be worth today.
Keep the Ticker Time Machine handy for any time you want to research how a companys stock value has performed over the years. After all, its only natural to look back on the early days of mammoth stocks and wonder what might have been. If you invested $10,000 in Google a decade ago, you would have more than $300,000 today* for a 30X return.
High-flying stocks like Apple and Google are the exception, and not the normyet over time, the U.S. stock markets annual return is about 10% on average, according to NerdWallet.
