TICK (previously called TICK98) is probably the ultimate freeware dial up enhancer for Windows 95/98/NT4/2000 or Millennium-Me. Logs all dial up networking calls including length and cost of call and the amount of data transferred. Uses no runtime files and has POP3 mail checker, finger, ping, Web notify tools, popup digital display, password database, IP Address finder, and context sensitive help.

Great to track length on time on Internet

Tracks length of time on Internet Logs shows the date, time and length of connection

Some features limited
Summary
A small box shows up and I can position it at any screen corner. It displays information that I selected in the preferences. It also has a log to show each connection made, the date, time and duration. This log can be copied or exported. Very useful because I have a set amount of Internet access and I can check how much is left.
Totally worthless rubbish. DON'T use!

Pros
It's freeware! (But supplier should pay US for our troubles LOL.)
Cons
Wouldn't work in any way (as advertised) on my PC. Clumsy, unworkable interface. Attempted to remove it with Windows XP "Add or Remove Software" application. PC then totally locked up, requiring soft reboot. Finally removed it using CCleaner. Would stay well away from this product.
