Select from sample recipes and store your own dishes in this database-style application that lacks spice in its appearance. The Recipe Processor 2000's bland interface is simple and easy to understand, and you can change the color of the skins. Find and input recipes by category including appetizer, dessert, candy, and meat types. You can edit recipes, change the number of servings, and view the calories, ingredients, and directions. Meal planning, a cooking guide, and definitions of simple cooking terms are part of the package. Although you can print a shopping list based on selected recipes, the default SHL extension will be unrecognizable to most machines, so save it as a text file or to your clipboard. You can attach pictures and media files, which seems like overkill but may be useful to some folks. The shareware allows you to store up to 500 recipes, which is a reasonable trial. Cooks who want to organize their personal recipes, access 120 sample dishes, and prepare meals for varying numbers of guests will find The Recipe Processor 2000 quite useful.
