• The Best Lottery Software for Powerball & Mega Millions

  Pros

  I had to download the 2012 version 8.0.0.0 which I got directly from McCracken Software's website. The installation was flawless and completed quickly. The software has many good features. It first connected to the lottery website database and downloaded all the number and brought the database up to date. There are no data files that need to be downloaded and installed, it's all automatic as listed above. The software does a good job of picking numbers and randomizing my own numbers. It lets me import numbers if I want to. It checks all my play numbers at once and highlights number that match the drawn numbers then totals up the winnings... pretty cool I can print my play-slips before I go to the store to get the tickets. Love this feature!!!. There are more nice features that would take a while to list. I have won my money back so far!

  It only works with Powerball & Mega Millions lotteries.

  You should go to McCracken Software and get the latest version. It won't disappoint

  Will not work on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit

  Summary

  Have used the program in the past on a XP machine, just upgraded to a new computer with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and the old program would not load on the new computer. I have used the program to check lotto numbers and wanted to continue using the program, so I went to site and purchased the new program that was my 1st mistake should have downloaded a trial version 1st, the program will not run on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, I have tried every thing, I have made sure I have the latest .net framework installed as the support advised, after trying everything they could suggest and the program still wont run I requested a refund and was denied, I am now seeking relief thru paypal....WARNING DO NOT PURCHASE PRODUCTS FROM POWERFALL OR McCRACKEN SOFTWARE...THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THERE PRODUCTS

  Checks all my lottery numbers & calculates my winnings instantly! downloads new lottery numbers, prints my play-slips, Imports numbers from other programs like excel, free updates. An account is created on their website for downloading the updates.

  The version i downloaded here is older (2007) version. The should have the newest version on here for download.

  Summary

  I liked the software so went to the website and bought the newest version (2010) which was much better and faster. It worked great on my windows 7 laptop. The program was clean and simple to use without the clutter that other programs have. Me and my husband have played up to 500 tickets at once before and this program made that a breeze... It printed all the tickets with ticket numbers printed on top of each slip so if a couple of tickets needed to be reprinted there was an option to reprint just those certain slip numbers, this was awesome! If you've ever played 500 tickets before, then you know that checking all of them is a pain in the but. This program checked all of the numbers & totaled winnings by single row of numbers & by all numbers. ALl of the numbers that matched the drawn numbers were highlighted in red making them easy to see. The calculation are very accurate. All this checking was done immediately after the lottery drawing as the program downloaded the newly drawn number soon after the drawing. To the reviewer how said he couldn't get an internet connection to download the numbers, you have to tell your firewall to grant permission before it can connect to the internet. Thats what I had to do. Once I gave it permission and checked the box to remember that setting, I never had anymore issues... This is an awesome utility for someone who plays many numbers at once and I highly recommend the 2010 version which is available on their website. The version here is 3 years old. Very pleased.

• Wants a serial number but they did not send me one

  The software is easy to use.

  Cons

  Downloaded trial then deciced to buy. It notified me of an update so I installed it. Then it wanted to update again. I allowed that. Then it wanted a serial number. I had purchased the software and the company sent me a secret link but no serial number. Now the program is locked out and will not work.

  Could not download or update numbers, kept getting " CONNECTION FAILURE" <p>when I tried to update drawn numbers list, and because of that, none of the program would work.
