We have 15 donor centers located throughout southeast Louisiana and coastal Mississippi, many of which are equipped to accept donations of plasma and platelets in addition to whole blood. We service many area hospitals and there's a chance that you or a loved one may have received blood from a donation made with The Blood Center!The Blood Center's application for iPhone and iPod Touch is designed to give you quick access to information including:- Donation center locations, hours, phone numbers, and maps- Current donation promotions- Recent news from The Blood Center's website- Cholesterol and blood typing results after donation- Opt-in push notifications for cholesterol results- Information about blood donation and deferral criteriaYou can find the donation center nearest to them and get the phone number, address, hours of operation and directions from your current location.
