TG-tor ASCVD risk calculator provides estimation of 10-year and lifetime risk for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease using the Pooled Cohort Equations and lifetime risk prediction tools. It calculates the 10-year primary risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease among patients without established cardiovascular disease who are between 40 and 79 years of age. Estimation of 10-year risk for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease are based on data from multiple community-based populations and are applicable to African-American and non-Hispanic white men and women 40 through 79 years of age. TG-tor ASCVD risk calculator provides easy access to recommendations specific to the risk estimates produced by the calculator. Additionally, the app includes readily accessible guideline reference information for both providers and patients related to therapy, monitoring, and lifestyle. Patients are considered to be at elevated risk if the Pooled Cohort Equations predicted risk is 7.5%.
