• Simple, Fast and Efficient Text Conversion

  Pros

  We work with large amounts of meteorological sensor data in many different formats. Textools helps us manipulate these files very quickly with the built-in commands. We've also customized repetitive routines with the pipe functions. This program has saved us many hours of manual text conversion which translates into faster analysis and cost savings. Thanks!

• First-rate conversion tool

  Pros

  As manager of systems and research for a major daily newspaper, I frequently need to help reporters convert data they get from myriad sources into something they can process in Excel or a text editor. TexTools is ideal for convertting from/to .csv, moving/removing columns/rows, converting line-enders from non-Windows OS, etc. Very useful and easy to learn. Works perfectly with scripting tools such as Autoit and VBscript. We also call it from VBA macros.

  Pros

  I don't have need for this tool often, but when I do, it's perfect. It has a very easy-to-use interface, and allows me to do anything I can think of by way of text processing. My most recent use is to create email notification text to myself of automated backups and I use TextTools to format the email text and the subject line (on both system being backed up and system receiving the backup via FTP)before passing the text to Blat to email me and let me know the backup was done. <p> <p>In anycase, if you need to do any kind of automated text processing, large or small, this is a great piece of software.
