  It doesn't maintain the same layout/format from the chm file. It also take a lot of time to process and slow down your machine.

  I was impressed that all the formatting of the CHM file was preserved in PDF that was generated. All bookmarks, images, everything. There is a watermark because I am using the unregistered trial copy, but since I only needed the PDF file for personal use, it was hardly a problem. Superb job. I will pay for this piece of software.

  We needed to convert some CHM product documentation to a PDF file for one of our customers. We tried several products and found that formatting was awful and many times information would simply be truncated! ChmMagic did the job right the first time. In addition, ChmMagic preserved the formatting and even kept the background color...something the other products weren't able to do. Don't waste your time hunting any further...ChmMagic is the best!
