Excellent text editor for programmers!

Pros
TexEdit is more of an IDE (Integrated Development Environment) than just a simple text editor. It has built-in support for just about every popular programming language and can highlight loops and keywords and typo's, etc. There is also a built-in File Compare function.
Cons
None really. People looking for a basic text editor do not need this, and the installation size is maybe slightly larger than just a basic editor, but it can definitely be used as a basic editor.
