  Pros

  Doing some Find & replace

  Cons

  Can't define multiple find & replace for a single file. Stupid nag trial screen. I've tried the command line options abut can't find & replace any string containing " (quote) because it's already used as a delimiter.

• It works, doesn't have malware, and trial is fully functional!

  Pros

  It has the ability to be command line, worked for txt/doc/xls at the same time and the help files were actually helpful and exploring through the program was somewhat straightforward (ie was able to figure things out). I don't want to sound too enthusiastic, but this has all the features one would expect from a text replace program.

  Cons

  none that I would mention here (but note "recure subfolder" checkbox would be equivalent to "include subfolders")
