  This download could not be more useless. The trial version produces deliberately corrupted results. (I suggest that the "Limitations" field for this download be updated to reflect this.) <p> <p>I understand the philosophy behind "try before you buy," but in this case, it fails miserably. In my mind, there are some criteria a "trial" version of a commercial file must meet: It must be at least marginally functional, and if not, at least produce verifiable results. <p> <p>This download fails both tests. The software does one thing only, and that is to convert text files to MS-Word format. (Presumably it does this; I cannot verify it because I don't have MS-Word.) Now, since the trial version introduces errors into the resulting file in the form of random asterisks, it is necessary to edit this file and remove the asterisks, using... MS-Word (which you presumably don't own, which is why you needed this download in the first place). Without any inherent functionality, or even a means to verify the advertised functionality, this download was an utter waste of time.
