Create and edit text files with spelling check function.

Text Edit is designed to edit small text files including a spelling check facility which can be adjusted for all languages using the ASCII based character set. There is also a translator function which enables a word for word translation of text no attempt is made with grammar or meaning interpretation. A dictionary may be derived from the currently loaded text or from a file. New blank dictionaries may be set up and words added from texts with known correct spellings. Features include open, save, clear screen, check spelling, current dictionary, change current dictionary file path, create new blank dictionary, add current text to current database, check current dictionary, translate, and window state.

I could not install it, due to malware protection.

I had no chance to try it.
Cons
During installation it hit the malware protection software, and therefore I did not agree that it modifies registry in my PC.
Summary
The program should be written so that it does not conflict with virus/malware protection programs.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Mar 22, 2013<p/>CNET - please remove this program from downloading! When I started to install it, and I denied its access to registry, it installed the infamous WhiteCloud, and 4 other unwanted programs I had to delete with Control Panel. Also it installed about 10 unwanted plug-in in to my Google Chrome, replaced the start screen in Google Chrome and new tab defaults. I lost more than an hour with cleaning business. Please take it out of download immediately. Thank you.
