  Pros

  Texas Holdem Video Poker has been up for YEARS. Unlike some other poker programs around here that try to install toolbars and who knows what else this program is free and isntalls nothing but the program. The author has 5 games listed here

  Cons

  The only cons about this program is that it doesnt allow more than a fixed number (5) of pocket pair to see the flop but this could be updated in coming versions. However it still provided a good practice for FREE without nag screen like others.

  Summary

  Many negative reviews are competing programmes who would rather bash someone else's work rather than improve their own product. They will also post glowing reviews of their subpar junk programs as if that will help anything. Ofcouse if their aim is to install a spyware ad serving toolbar then yeah,,, I can see their motivation.

  Excellent program, graphics. Really a fun game.

  The "end of hand" display is a little too fast. See below:

  There is an option to stop action at end of hand ("click on stop button to restart") but there is no "STOP" button to be found - so it doesn't work. It would be nice to have an option to show winning hands when all opponent hands have folded.

  Haven't actually used the program yet.

  Haven't even tried the software, but when I downloaded it, all the sudden my TurboTax started trying to open. Turbotax always asks me to insert CD since I don't download full version. I got this same message. I had nothing else running, and wasn't on my keyboard. All windows were closed when I started download, and had selected to save game to 'My programs" folder. Could be a fluke error, but very wierd! Makes me more cautious.
