  Pros

  a lot of different vehicle. like a rhino, goat, armadillo. and many more very addictive. customizable from controls to the interface. the community is very helpful. hot keys are easy to set up in keys bindings

  Cons

  this is a old game and graphic show it, but it plays fast, and the learning curve can be hard on new players.

  Pros

  The game is being worked on, the gameplay is fun, skill is actually a factor (no spray n pray or button mashing), competition is always fun, and the community is very helpful - altho there is a degree of trash talk.

  Cons

  Low amount of players, gotta learn your keys, a lot of false hackusations.

  Summary

  Play it, be patient, ask for help, and above all SHOW EM WHO'S BOSS!

  Pros

  The only pro is its free.

  Cons

  The admins have made every effort to code it to their own advantage. They are mainly looking for some fodder. You unload all your ammo on them, and they kill you with one shot. A 16 penny nail and a hammer up your azz would probably be more fun.

  The New Account form does not work, so it can't be played.

  Summary

  It has a great description and the screenshot looks interesting, but sadly the software requires an account made to connect to the server and the new account request form does not work. So although the software itself may or may not be quality and enjoyable, it can't be used after you install it.

  There is always a battle to be had, great player community, its FREE, and there is a variety vehicles and locations to choose from in the vast world of Terra!

  Cons

  Although it is fun, at the beginning it can be confusing learning how to play but after you do, you wont want to leave your computer.

  -Customizable from controls to the interface -Updated tank models -The same awesome vehicle fighting as the old Terra -Persistent World -Helpful Community -IT'S FREE

  - Lack of Training -Changes being made very slowly -Terrain is very old and not very pretty -Still looks like a game from 2000

  Summary

  Terra is not for the faint of heart, you have to want to take the time to learn the game and really master all the skills you will need to have to succeed. People have played this game for 6+ years and they are still learning new tricks. Although the game is old, (circa 1998) it is being constant worked on by the administrators who actually listen to your input on the game, many of the changes made were suggested by the players. The New client (Now fully DirectX 9) is great for customizing your game for however you want to play it. The other great thing about Terra is how helpful the community is to new players, simply ask your question on the default channel and your almost guaranteed to quickly get an answer. I would recommend this game to anyone who has the time to learn how to master the skills required for success and is not discouraged by being killed more than a few times are the beginning of their career, it happens to everyone! So if that sounds like you, hurry up and download Terra, I'll see you at Benton.

  It's a online tank war game (with helicopters as a minor interest) that does everything that you'd expect from this type of game (and everything that Terra promises). If more people play, it can become a stronger game.

  Cons

  "Rough Edges Detract". There are many rough edges in this game. They are fine once you've recognised them but until you do, you'd want to quit. I almost did several times (for example originally logging on and also after I first died) and I'd suggest that they lose many potential players with these rough edges. At times the tanks had 'too much' difficulty with certain terrain. The only other concern was that the bot tanks appeared to be atouch too exacting on their activities (and attacks).

  Any game thats good takes a couple of hours to get good at. <p> <p>Terra has lots of options so it's realistic as a combat simulator. I've played for about a week and the first couple of hours I lost most of the fights. But, once I set my F1-2-3-4 buttons to switch weapons (the manual easily explains how to set up your keyboard for combat) I started winning more than losing. <p> <p>Every game function can be used with keyboard control... <p>I just used weapons at first, now I'm adding a new control each day (today I made the Num-0 switch to REVERSE... it was easy) <p> <p>The world is huge.... One week, I've seen about 2 percent of it. <p>Population is kinda low, but there's fights out there and you can find one or challenge in chat. <p>Learning the alliances and clans is fun... I'm just new, so I listen to the higher officers about who hunts who (and what happened before I got there...) <p> <p>You should at least give this a shot... It worked with my built-in video card. <p>Too many games today need the newest video cards (I can't afford that) <p> <p>Summary... Any game that's any good takes a couple of hour to get good at.

  The controls take about 2 hours to learn... <p>No way to chat with just your clan... Only private talk 1 one-on-one <p>The microphone option might solve that (I'm getting a mic this week to try)

  Pros

  You can play against other players, and not just bots. You can do lots of things, like create your own clan, join a clan, make forts, and defend your forts, and much more. If you ask a question, someone is garenteed to give you an answer. Its one of the only games that I play, and I love it.

  Cons

  There really isent anything that I dont like about it. In my opinion, its an all around great game.
