TEFview is a Viewer for TablEdit tablature files (.TEF format).View songs that are available from the internet in TablEdit file format on your computer screen. Hear the songs the way the author intended to have them heard, at any speed. Loop sections of songs, or even entire songs so that you can get the most out of your practice time. Print the songs out so that you can have them handy in your gig bag, instrument case, or even in a binder for easy reference when you are away from your computer.

Pros
Ease of use, does what it says on the tin.
Cons
Nothing so far.
Summary
I found it very easy to figure out and use, with a minimum of help. I use it for writing(slowly!) tab and deciphering tabs found on the 'net - the sound repro although basic is helpful, as is the ability to slow/speed up, print or record.
Works good for what I want. don't use all the features

Works good and it is free
Cons
Hard to find the font to add to your font folder. It is in the install folder but does not tell you that is where it is.
Summary
I only use it to download tabs and print them and it works well for that
A great software tool for musicians who use tablature.

Pros
It does everything I need it to do. Shows the tablature, prints the tab, and plays a midi of the printed tab.
Cons
No edit function for your own preferences.
