- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Downloaded and installed widget on my MacBook Pro; then used Amnesty Singles to generate a stand-alone app from the widget. So far, functions perfectly. It not only simulates (or assigns) pitches to the keyboard, <i>it will also sustain a pitch if the given key is held down</i>. In addition, I find the interface to be very attractive. Only one glitch: attempting to close the app using COMMAND-Q plays the pitch assigned to that key rather than quitting the application. (Then again, developer probably never intended widget to be used as a stand-alone app. So I have close it by CONTROL-clicking on its icon in the dock instead.) However, as a professional singer, I suspect this little widget/application is going to prove invaluable.
