For quick calculations, this free utility proves to be crude yet handy. Taskbar Calculator does exactly what its name suggests; it loads a little calculator in your taskbar. You can perform basic mathematical operations without blocking the screen. This tiny operative is accessible through the system-tray context menu and sits out of the way until you exit it. You won't find anything fancy here, but users will appreciate its simple convenience.
Does exactly what the author says it can do! Great App!

Pros
Easy install, great functionality, very convenient, great location (taskbar), quick calculations on the numeric keypad.
Cons
Not for x64 based systems

Smart idea, Great app
Installs; Works; Wish it had more functionality

Pros
Great idea!
Installs/uninstalls easily.
Cons
Wish it would echo back the "operator" characters
Wish it had more functionality, for example ()'s, powers, etc. Would have been/would be easy to include.
Wish it would allow left-arrow & edit of the input string (but maybe that's too much wishing)
Summary
I have the regular Windows Calc on a speed key, quickly available. Not worth having this also installed. Removed it.
Great Little App!

Pros
I absolutely love this simple little calculator for keeping a running total. I work on my computer as a typist, and have to keep track of the number of words I type. This little calculator is perfect! You just use your keypad~
Cons
I suppose it might not be very good for long, complicated equations, but that's not what I needed anyway!

Summary
Well I was looking for a complex scientific calc and stumbled across this. It's a great idea to put it in the Taskbar.
Pros:
- extremely convenient location to a calculator!
Cons:
- The default calculator window size (in Vista, anyways) only allows 5 digits to be displayed. A configurable default size (or font size) would be ideal
- I wish it had a hotkey that would jump straight to the calculator
- I wish it used some of the same hotkeys as Windows Calc (ie. r = 1/x)
- It needs a memory store/recall function!
Product confusing to use so I uninstalled it and tried minicalulator. Then someone told me how to get my windows desktop calulator back so I do not that need either.

Pros
It is Free.
Cons
It takes a while to understand how to actually use the calculator. I was looking for a calculator with numbers not a bunch of symbols that I mostly did not understand.I am sure if I was looking for complex math it would work but for just adding and subtracting the Minicalulator was better. Then someone told me how to get my windows desktop calulator back so I do not need either.
Summary
This is an ok calculator.

Pros
Works great! I love it. I often have to calculate something and this is a real nice short-cut to reaching for the calculator or opening Excel.
Cons
No Cons. But, maybe future versions could have more calcuation options. Not a complaint, just a suggestions.

Pros
Cons
pointless product with no value. reason? because the PC allows you to take the calculator progam already installed with windows & you can put in on the taskbar as an icon, then whenever you need it just click the icon once. also, the windows XP calculator also has the ability to perform scientific math calculations if you hit "view" & then "scientific"--this makes the built-in one better all the way around.

Pros
Good idea... right in the taskbar. Very convenient and unobtrusive.
Cons
Does not calculate with precision. I made some calculations and noticed it made errors because it does not calculate with many decimals, yielding incorrect results, especialy when converting or calculating back and forth between different units.
Perform various calculations from your Windows taskbar. It's a simple mathematical calculator, but with a useful peculiarity: it is positioned on the taskbar, that area of the desktop where the list of the open programs appears (generally on the bottom of the screen), so that it doesn't cover the opened programs, making the calculation more practical. It supply basic mathematical functions: sum, multiplication, division, subtraction, percentage, square root.
