• Excellent installer

  Pros

  Has lots of options including: creating own variables which can then be included in a command line with the setup allows for fully quiet installs is widely customisable

  Cons

  Cannot resize the dialog boxes (though that is meant to be coming) A little clunky to use - eg setting permissions for folders requires adding a couple of actions that run programs (provided) to set permissions for 32 and 64 bit installations

  Summary

  I was sick of struggling with Wix installer and looked at several other installation programs. Advanced Installer seemed nice but the pro version was very expensive and shut you out of important options such as silent install and command line options unless you purchased the extremely expensive enterprise version. Installmate provided all the power I needed without the over-the-top cost. I recommend it unreservedly.

  I tried many products. But none of them compared to the features/price of Installmate.
