Takli is a communication app designed for adults, emphasizing privacy and controlled discovery in messaging. This Android application allows users to send text messages, photos, and voice notes while providing features such as disappearing messages and biometric locks for individual chats. The app is particularly relevant for users looking to maintain privacy in their conversations while facilitating selective connections through tools like People Nearby and Photo Match. Its clean interface and low data consumption make it suitable for users on constrained connections, supporting a seamless messaging experience without compromising on security.
The app enables users to manage their contacts effectively with instant blocking and message limiting features, ensuring that new connections are controlled and secure. Takli's privacy features also include a comprehensive app-wide lock and the option to delete accounts and all related data. However, the app's Android-only availability may limit cross-device functionality, and the notification management options are not fully detailed, which may impact user experience for those who prioritize granular control over notifications.
