Tagg-ly is a lightweight utility program that lets you quickly add personal information to your photos, either taken through the app or from the camera roll. You can decide which information to include in the tag, and the app takes care of the rest.

Pros

Customization options: This app inserts whatever combination of name, date, time, and URL or Twitter handle you want. You can turn on some items for certain photos and turn them off for others. And you can use these tags both on photos and videos you take through the app and on those you've taken previously and are stored in your camera roll.

Photo configuration: When you take a photo or video through the app, you have a couple of options for configuration. These include both square video and square photo -- especially convenient if you want to share your media on Instagram or similar sites that support the square format.

Cons

Location bugs: The location feature can only use your current location, and there is no option for entering a custom location. This feature works fine when you take a photo through the app, but if you add a tag that includes a location to an existing photo, the location may be completely wrong. All of the images we tested came up with a stamp saying they were taken in Kyrgyzstan.

Bottom Line

If you want a quick way to include personal information on your photos, this is an excellent app. It works quickly and inserts a very readable but non-intrusive stamp, so your images can be quickly identified as your own. The app is free, and its features are easily accessible through its intuitive interface.
